China Gramota. Bar & Food is a stylish contemporary Cantonese restaurant featuring an original and thoughtfully curated cocktail program.
The menu is built around Cantonese cuisine, the most widely recognized style of Chinese cooking outside of China. Its defining characteristic is the ability to achieve exceptional depth of flavor through minimal cooking and the restrained use of sauces.
Great emphasis is placed on the quality of ingredients and the harmony between them. Even seemingly minor details matter—from the order in which ingredients are added during cooking to the way they complement one another, including their color combinations.
The combination of a bar and Chinese cuisine is nothing new in Moscow. In the past, however, it usually meant a club or cocktail bar with a touch of Chinese aesthetics. Here, by contrast, we're talking about a fully fledged Chinese restaurant. The bar concept stands in deliberate contrast to the culinary one, embracing an entirely international approach. Its core idea is to offer a sophisticated and abundant drinking experience, centered on refined simplicity, diversity, and quality.
The interior was designed by the talented designer Diana Generalova, who masterfully blended the atmosphere of a classic English pub with sculptures from the Han and Tang dynasties and contemporary Chinese art, creating a space of remarkable elegance and refined taste.
